When I bought my used '95 Camry in '96, someone apparently squirted some
battery acid into a connector (IH2). This resulted in the dealer charging
$150 several times but they never really fixed it. Because the connectors
were corroded I installed patch wires that took the place of the connector
pins. It worked fine for several years, but I'm having trouble again.

The most annoying thing is the door locks in the back don't automatically
unlock. So to get in the back seat, I have to reach back and flip the
manual door lock.

I was trying to debug the mess of wires but there is one wire sticking out
of the wiring harness. It is small gauge and red with a black stripe. The
wire is just long enough to reach pin 20 on IH2 but there is no wire on the
other side of the connector. Can anyone tell me where the wire goes? TIA.

Have you checked the website www.turboninjas.com/camry yet?
Maybe you will find good electrical diagrams there...

I located a '94 Wiring Diagram and search it for all references to "IH2",
"20", and "R-B". No luck.
I'll try the reference you cited.
