Post subject: How to get better windshield washer jets?
Archived from groups: alt>autos>subaru (more info?)

I'm going to be replacing my rusty hood (got another from the salvage
yard). Started me thinking that maybe I would like to replace the
washer jets in the hood. The old one just squirted a solid stream at
the windshield. I'd like to get the kind that sprays all over the
windshield. The single jet requires me to use more fluid because I
have to squirt some when the blades are low and when they are high so
those parts of the windshield get cleaned rather than just the middle.
I think the later jets have the spray pattern but I don't know if
Subaru uses the same shape for the jet for the hole in the hood (and
the thickness is the same for whatever retainer and slot for it is
used under the hood).
