voyager not starting

hi can anyone help please, my voyager needed a battery so i charged up a replacement one, put it on the car and the terminals were sparking, i also heard something like a motorised componet make a noise, so i took off the battery and then tried another, this one didnt spark, but the car will not start and central locking will not work. all lights on dash ect are working and ignition, could something have gone down many thanx sue Crying or Very sad

Sounds like you may have hooked the battery up backwards (+ to - and
vice-versa).
