Post subject: subaru legacy gt 1994

hi all i have a subaru legacy 1994 gt the car runs lovely in dry conditions then when we get abit of rain the speedo dose one full turn then the engine stops. once it stopped i leave it for 5 mins then it fine for another 2 or 3 mins then it stops again. anyone have any idea Rolling Eyes please help and thank for looking.

If you can duplicate the poor running conditions by spraying water
on/around the coil/plugwires/etc. - well, there's the problem. Likely
shorting out when damp. Sometimes you can hear the arcing or even see it
at night.
