Assuming you are referring to gearbox codes, 114 is open-circuit in wiring
to program selector. Program selection is to do with Winter/Sports/Economy
switching. The fact that it did not reappear may be due to it's being
intermittent, or not having had an opportunity to re-establish itself.
313 is incorrect gear position signal. I would have a check of the gear
position selector itself and the wiring involved. The general faults with
this are usually earthing (grounding) faults on the four sensing wires. With
313 code the gearbox is set to "limp home" mode (4th gear only) and the
diagnostic LED flashes to indicate that a forbidden combination has been
received by the gearbox from the gear position sensor. Correct gear signal
is derived from combinations of earths (grounds) on the four signal wires.
All the best, Peter.
