99 Taurus A/C uncool - Hi... I have a 99 Taurus 3.0 Duratec, AX4N, Climate Control, owned from new. Never any problem with A/C cooling, tho a few electrical problems. Regularly driven til last year, now about once a week. Not cooling when A/C first used this year. ....
S Code DOHC in a Taurus SHO? - There seem to be a lot of 96-99 Taurus SHO's with bad engines, thanks to a less than desireable cam design. What would it take to replace that engine with a 3.0L S Code DOHC engine from a Taurus LX? Is this a reasonable swap? Maybe I'm dreaming, but...
2000 Taurus Revs High in Neutral - When on Highway, if I slip it into neutral the rpms shoot up to 3k. Also when starting cold it revs high for at least 10 seconds then comes back to 1k. Any ideas.. Thanks
96 Taurus automatic takes off on it's own? - We bought our daughter a 1996 Ford Taurus last year, which is in fairly decent shape, but one thing has bugged me since we bought it. Just releasing the brake pedal will cause the car to accelerate and cruise about 10-20mph (possibly higher). So you.. |
