Archived from groups: alt>trucks>ford (more info?)

I have a Motorhome built on a 1986 Ford E-350 chassis with a 460
engine.
It has a C6 Trans and turns about 3000 rpm at 65 MPH.
I want to switch to the newer 4 spd overdrive trans ( E4OD? ) and
understand this can be done with the help of a computer thingy that
controls the shifts.
Can anyone help me locate what I need to do the job?
Anyone have any experience with this?

I think that's baumannengineering.com and they do make the thingy in
question, but don't hold me to it.

93 Ford Ranger Engine Revs on its own..... - I have a 93 Ford Ranger stick shift. The problem I am having is when I change gears on occasion the car will continue to accelerate even if my foot is not on the gas pedal. When I take it out of gear the engine revs up and then it continues to..

Engine oil for 2002 Ford Ranger... 5w20? - I recently bought a Haynes manual for my 2002 Ford Ranger 3.0L Edge. The oil cap in the engine says 5w20 but Haynes said that you could run 10w30 in it above certain outside temps. The manual stated that this would have an effect on gas mileage and..
