what does it mean exactly when an engine has no spark and how do you fix
it? thanks

Uhhmm, it means exactly that the engine has no spark to fire the fuel in the
cylinders. You fix it by figuring out why there is no spark. On a 92 Taurus, I would
suspect the TFI module on the distributor.
