Hello,

I have a sidewall tire cut about 2 inches but the tire is fine with no
loss of pressure.

Should I be concerned. Should it be repaired or replaced ?

Thanks !!

Even if the cut is so shallow that air isn't leaking, I would still
replace the tire if it were on my vehicle.

The sidewall is not repairable, period. You could have a tube put in the tire and that would improve the reliability very little because it provides no strength. So everything hinges on how superficial the cut is and we can't see it. You can. You also don't say what type of driving you do or how much tread life ther is on the tire. You could chance it as a spare. With what little you have said, I'd have to say you need to replace it.

If you have a cut on the sidewall the tire is unfixable.

Can you see the cords at the bottom of the cut?

If so, water can get in and cause 'tread separation' which can be a bad
thing.

If any cords are cut, the tire is likely to fail anytime at highway
speed.

If it is just a cut in the rubber compound, then you 'shouldn't' have
issues, but....

No it is just a rubber cut/slice. Even if I spread the cut I only see
black. I switched it with my full size spare rim and tire. I believe
as a spare it should be fine.
