Owner's Manual -

Switching from Automatic to Manual - I own a 2001 Subaru Outback station wagon and have wanted to change it from an automatic transmission to a manual 5-speed. I've seen a couple do-it-yourself guides to switching transmissions, but I'm not a mechanic so it doesn't make much sense to me. ....

Manual Transmission problems - I just recently bought a 2004 Subaru Outback and have had some problems shifting the car into first and reverse. This only occurs from a stand-still, and it happens about 10% of the time. I took the car in and they told me that I wasn't pressing down..
