I believe you'll have to get under the car and remove bolts and retainers.
That was how my Corolla came apart.

If it's Desert Damage, you probably won't snap a lot of bolts! (GRRRRRR!)

Also, have a look at http://www.supras.com, click on SOGI, and have a look
at the Tech section. Also, register and become a member (if you can get a
second e-mail address, or get a yahoo address, since we pass info by
e-mail and sometimes the messages fly! I have mine go to a second E-Mail
addy just for that purpose!). A lot of these guys have had Supras for a
LONG time and know them inside out!

When you get the bodywork compounds and the primer/paint for
finishing the bumper, tell the paint shop what it's going to be used
for - they have special fillers and glazes for surface prep, and
special flex additives for the primer and paint.

The right paint will take minor bumps and flexing of the bumper
cover without cracking or peeling off, at least for a few years till
the flex additives bake out...

bickering at any moment after the original question has been answered.
Matter of fact, if I wanted to start it off there are several
guaranteed flame-starter comments I could throw out (and duck and
cover) - but I'll refrain.

You have to learn when to bail on a thread that's gone south and hit
the "Ignore Thread" button (available on properly configured news

If you want to hot rod a Supra you really need to use the turbo
engine. They can almost double the HP with just a impeller, exhaust
and can make some serous HP on stock internals.

But when it comes right down to it my stock 7mge has more power than
it needs in the first place so I have always been happy with mine. It even
tows my little trailer with 3 ATC's piled on it without any problems at all.

ULP! No, no, no! Get some Flex Primer, or you'll be doing it again in a
couple years or less! The bumper/nose may *feel* pretty sturdy, but it
flexes, esp with heat! Sand it, primer it with a flex primer and that
should be OK, but again, only for a period.

To do it properly, you should also use a paint and a claercoat with a flex
additive in it.

I bought a 240SX that someone had painted without flex. The body looked
great, but the front and rear bumpers started crazing and flecking after 8
months.
