I have a problem with my car which is proving to be somewhat illusive
to fix. I have just replaced the battery on the car as it would hold
charge and consequently I didnt use the car for three weeks. On
replacing the battery the car starts fine but the dashboard lights,
interior clock, interior lights, gear engagment, radio etc, work until
I really gun the accelerator and then everything is fine. (strangely
the headlights do work). Its almost as if the eletrics wake up with the
revs and as the revs die they are fine. The clock is also resetting to
1.00 pm each time which would indicate there is no juice getting
through unless the the engine is running
The car has done less than 20k in milage so I am somewhat puzzled. The
alternator is charging the battery
any thoughts please
