is an empty group.

This is probably going to be the only Toyota group left on the Verizon
servers after June 24. This solves *MY* problem, that is, if everyone
migrates.

Now, for the others whose ISPs are going to drop newsgroups completely...

Oh, and I like the ads on the right hand side of the screen! Amazing
how they stay on-topic! Of course, if they weren't there, there
probably wouldn't be any Google Groups. either.

As BGM says, there are free services - I use teranews and they do have
binaries also - so far my provider (ATT) hasn't censored access to the net
BUT their NG selection was "cleaned up" (according to them) a few years ago
removing sites that might have young folks depicted. Hach has a good idea.

That's true. But... for those who already have a news server other than
their ISP's, or are about to subscribe to one... no migration necessary.

> Now, for the others whose ISPs are going to drop newsgroups completely...

Same as above, re: another server.

(actually, I was kinda hoping to get away from the (OT:) posts, even
though I'm one of the biggest offenders...)
