can anyone suggest where to start looking for the water leak in the
passanger side dash? The dealership is trying to convince me that it's
owner maintenance issue to clean out the AC condensate tube under the
car. hummmmm we have cleaned the windshield grains and the water flows
nicely from behind the front wheels.
The parts dept can only give us a fuzzy print out of the AC drain and
we that's not the problem.

The most common cause of water leaking under the passenger side of the
dashboard is a mis-routed air conditioner condensate drain tube, which takes
less than a minute to fix. The most common cause of a mis-routed air
conditioner condensate drain tube is that it was disturbed by someone
installing an aftermarket accessory like an audio component, remote starter,
or alarm system.

To check the AC drain tube, pull the top of the carpet away from the floor.
The tube should be visible extending from the evaporator housing through a
grommet in the floor. If the hose is not going through the floor, stick it
through the grommet. If the hose is properly positioned, poke a wire up
from underneath the car to make sure the hose is not clogged.
