I have a 1990 Honda accord and the driver's side window will not go up. It
has power windows and the other windows are working fine. I can't pull it up
manually and i even took the inside skin of the door off and tried to pry
it up to no avail. There must be an easier way to get the window up
manually. Anyone have any suggestions?

Remove the door panel and unplug the motor. Get a couple of wires and
have someone hold one end of each wire near the battery, push each
wire into he window motor plug, tell your friend to touch the battery
terminals and see if the window moves. Reverse the wires at the
battery and try again. If the motor works both directions, the motor
is OK and the problem is with the switches or wires. Remember there
will be no fuses in your bypass circuit so only touch the wires to the
battery for a few seconds. You can touch 12 volts and it will not bite
you.
