I have a 1995 Honda Accord EX 5 speed. I dont know muhc about cars so am here trying to find out whats wrong. A few weeks ago, this started happening to me. In 1st and 2nd gear, it wasnt too bad, but I did notice a lack of power. The rpms would fly when I accleerated, but i wouldnt move much. It got worse in 4th adn 5th gear on the highway. Even going up small hills, i couldnt maintain a constant speed and my acceleration was horrible. when using cruise control, if i hit the slightest hill, rpms again would soar and i would get no speed. can anyone tell me whats wrong with my car? do i need a new clutch? someone mentioned a transmission. do 5 speed manuals have transmissions that need to be changed?
