Engine Tapping - Once again my '01 300m is giving me problems. I recently went for atrip to the Grand Canyon and started noticing a tapping noise in the engine. I had never heard it before. That was about 2 months ago and since the noise has benn present. It sounds worst.

"Check Engine" again - I reported a week or so back that our '02 300M's light was on, with codes of P0335 and P0440 (camshaft and psosition sensor errors). This was remedied by replacing the camshaft position sensor, and I paid the $100

nope came off easily with a breaker bar, the bolts are pitted and somewhat
rusted though from Florida weather and Colorado winter roads (previous owner
lived out in the sticks. after buying it I moved down here in the land of
sweat and humidity) so i'll need to replace those this week.

Even though you'll probably never need to replace them again, you will
put anti-seize on the new bolts?
