how many photos are TOO MANY photos? (in a project car lis..

I'm gonna list a 'project car' on ebay. I have a good site host/no
banners. I'm gonna build a website with 'extra images' of the car (ebay
costs 'per image', so that's a non-starter).

got digi-pix already of the car from all angles, everywhere, inside and
out, top to bottom, entire car -and- closeups, including all the
unattached parts. the images are going to be 800 x 600, all thumbnailed,
of course, at about 20 thumbs to a page (with the thumbs at 100 x 75px each)

my only real question is:

how many pix would be *TOO* many pix? (I have, potentially, about 400,
maybe even 500 total, all different, of the same car)

You need about 20 good pictures. Front, rear, 3/4 front right side, left,
rear left, front, dash front seat, rear seat, trunk, a few engine
compartment, undercarriage front and rear and any parts that come with it.
Shots of any problem areas. Be incredibly honest and disclose all problems.
You need to generate confidence in the bidder. Description should be to the
best of your knowledge. The bidders will ask you for more pictures if
needed which you can add as the auction progresses.
