Ahhh, my dream car has a home-made body that is a cross between a wedge
shape (kinda corvette style) and an older mustang. The frame would be a
custom, maybe based on 55 Chevy with Ford drive train (55 frames are
available and about the right size for what I want comfort wise). Custom
molded fiberglass/carbon body of my own making, 2 door hard top, 351W or 460
stroker, 4 speed auto trans, semi-pro street type setup (12"/14" rears).
Imagine a highly wedge shaped Mustang with 65 type front grill and such.

actually the 3.8 supercharged engine is the on to do ,this type of
conversion has been done in the past with no problems just have to get a
better radiator to guarantee good cooling .
If he looks in KITCAR the car builder's authority it advertises the
conversion kit for this engine plus a couple for mounting the north star
and including the chevy v-8 small block I even saw a Fiero with a Big
block in the stock position ,that had to be fun to drive.
But the 3.8 supercharged would be good for streetability and performance
and the car would still look stock ,a nice american sleeper .
good luck and send pics and updates on your progress.
