| i have a 1997 pathfinder that would not start, the distributor was replaced and it worked for a week and a half then refused to start, the mechanic then replaced a relay under the drivers side of the dash and told me it was working fine, when i went to pick it up it started and then when i stopped and tried to start it again it would not start.he checked and it was getting a spark and gas?
i have been told that it may be the "igniter" thats defective?

| Iam having the same problem on 96 Pathfinder. Have replaced distributor, ECU, battery and due to constant cranking the starter motor. Fuel flow and pressure have been checked OK. Have been told that it may be a crook Crank Angle sensor but I can't locate it, supposed to be on top of Bell housing????
Swapped blower and Ign relays it started a few times but ran rough. Now won't fire again. Even pulled Ignition tumbler to pieces but tested OK.
Not having any luck!
Any help would be great.
