Hi all,
Does anyone have any pictures of 2 tone paint schemes for the T-Cab??? I
thought I remembered someone on the newsgroup said they had a two tone
T-Cab... I have never seen one. I am considering how that might work for me.
If you have one that has the chrome fender belt trim down the side... that
would seem to be a good dividing line for the two tones. The line then runs
all the way to the back on the side of the bed.

Any nice pictures of single tone paint jobs would be appreciated too. You
can send them to my email if you would be so kind.
Thanks,
Mike M.

The only factory two-toned T-cabs that I have ever seen were special order
fleet trucks. For example, Canadian Western Natural Gas had a fleet of '61
and '62 Champs that were medium blue metallic with white doors. According
to factory literature, only the C-cabs could be ordered in a two-tone
combination.

There was a two tone red and white T cab on E bay around Christmas.
Perhaps someone kept the link and can send it to you. I believe it was
listed twice. It was rather highly priced and I am not sure that it
sold. Although not original it would give you and idea of what can be done

That's as close to perfection for a T-Cab as you can get. Didn't you
also use a '62 dash?

Hey studeman this is great! I like the drawing...Thanks! I have some photo
programs that can colorize and I'll try that... it would be interesting to
play around with different colors..
Thanks,

Sorry for getting here so late... I spent a couple DAYS looking for this
picture: I have a LARGE version of this drawing that is much easier to
colorize that I can e-mail to you.

I use Photoshop to colorize it in different schemes.... You can 1-2-and 3
TONE it . Most photo software can be used to change colors.
See my next post for examples....
