oil leak in 1996 VW jetta

Post subject: oil leak in 1996 VW jetta

Over the past two days my 1996 jetta has managed to loose all its oil.
Any suggestions on why its leaking all of this and the cost of how
much it may be to repair approximately?

Please help!

could be a lot of things such as oil pan got hit, oil drain plug, oil
pressure switches, gaskets, etc! As for cost... you need to find out what's
leaking first!

99 Jetta Coolant leak due to repair shop mistake - A couple weeks ago I had my wife's early 1999 A3 Jetta towed to a recommended Import repair shop. The car overheated and wouldn't restart due to a coolant leak. Fortunately it turned out to be a cracked fitting and nothing too major. Car even runs fine..
