For that much you can rent a big compressor, buy the media, a blaster,
and rebreather.
I have a cabinet, it wont fit a fender, but does my smaller parts.
On your question, blasting is better in my opinion. I've done both.
The only time I'd do a brush-on or dip over blasting is if the part
were undercoated. Then a dip/brush on is better.
