Post subject: best manual tranny?

hello, i race 4 cyl enduros localy, i have a car that tops out at 62mph at redline. i have noticed that other people have about 5mph more speed, i am just wondering if there is a specific manual that has a taller second gear. is there a year, specific engine that has a better gear ratio. thanks
