I'll stick to auto repair, because I am not a cook.

Making scrambled eggs and frozen pizzas are about my
limit. But this was the year I was chosen to make the dinner and
share my home for Thanksgiving.

Well, I wanted to go traditional, so I opened some cans of cranberry
sauce, whipped up some instant mashed potatoes, bought some pies from
Walmart, and bought a turkey from a farmer that was advertising them
in the paper for less than the stores.

I decorated the table with cute napkins and paper plates with turkey
pictures on them, and borrowed some nice silverware, and set the
table. My guests arrived right after I got all the food on the table.
We were just getting ready to sit down at the table when one of the
guests walked up to me and quietly said "you got a problem..... The
turkey just pooped on the table".

Not sure how much auto repair you do despite the name, probably very little. Auto Forumz is the weak sister of auto news groups. Posters often just make silly stories or questions up to amuse themselves. I guess it's some sort of a social safety valve for misfits and useful in that regard at least.

No offense to the occasionall serious posters that happens on to this group without knowing their audience.
