Post subject: 3.8 liter 94 Taurus AXODE

The car does not seem to have the power I would expect from an engin this size. Cruises well on the flat land but slows down on inclines.

It also responds well when it is cold but in the city after 5 minutes in traffic it occasionally fails to respond to the accelerator peddle.

What is the problem? Valve body, ignition timing, throttle position sensor, engin load sensor, speed sensor?

'99 Taurus---Which Plugs? - I've got an '99 Taurus with the overhead valve engine. The computer at the pars store listed several different plugs that would fit. Which spark plugs are the best for this application? Thanks.
