If you have four wheel drive, this is a symptom that the dual pump
fluid in the rear differential is shot. They keep trying to extend
the change interval for this stuff, but it seldom lasts 30,000 miles,
even on the newer CRVs. If your CRV is still under warranty, the
dealer will probably give you a free repair if this is the problem.

2001 CRV vibration noise - Folks, My old reliable CRV started making a loud vibration, like the tailpipe is rattling at 2300 rpm's and 53 miles per hour. It's a quick virbration that disappears above and below that speed but is very loud when it happens. The engine has to be..

CRV and Road Noise - My wife bought a 2004 CRV. Lots of road noise.... Can this noise be cut down with some type of undercoating? Are there tires a person could put on that are not as noisy or does the harsh suspension just lend itself to this phenomenon???

Rolling noise in CRV - normal? - Earlier this evening I test drove two brand new CRV's - a two wheel drive LX and a 4WD EX. Both were very quiet except for a low pitched rolling sound coming from the rear compartment. Sounded like wheel bearings, or maybe the emergency brake shoes....

CRV Road Noise - I have read everything I could find on the road noise topic and I fail to see any reference to undercoating the damned thing. Has anyone tried that, and, if so, did it make any difference??
