i have an 88 accord dx 5sp carburated...i been lookin around for answers but it doesnt seem like any body else had this prob...
the car was running and driving fine...then out of no were when i take it out of gear or push in the clutch the rpms rise up to 4 or five grand....
now when i start it...the rpms shoot strait up to 5 grand...and it doesnt come down at all...
i took the air filter off and looked around and things looked normal...
but the choke is all the way open as soon as i start it...if i hold it to were it is almost shut the rpms come back down...but if i let go it goes up again...
i twisted the knob thing on the back of the carb to see if it will drop down a bit but it didnt do anything...
im not gonna drive it till i fix it and i dont have a way to work now...so if anyboy knows the prob and how to fix please let me know.... thanks
