Post subject: help with my ford focus 16v

when my car is driving all of a sudden it starts to struggle as if the
petrol isnt getting through the engine i have changed the fuel and air
filters and its still doing it also the engine management light is
flashing when the car is stuttering

Your car is probably telling you about a misfire condition, which can
be any number of things gone wrong. Do like Jim says, get it into the
shop before more damage occurs. A flashing engine light on these
modern Fords should not be ignored for any length of time. Get it
fixed ASAP. Says so in your owner's manual.

Well..... the check engine light comes on... Believe it or not, it is trying
to tell you something... Since it sometimes flashes, it is trying to tell
you something important.... You need to take it to a shop and they can find
out what the light is saying - hopefully before you have to buy a catalytic
convertor....
