| I hope someone can help. I have a '93 Corsica. When I turn the key, it will
not do anything. No clicking, no turning over, nothing. Although the fan on
the air conditioner and radio comes on like normal, it will not crank. Does
anyone have any ideas what the problem is?

Does your dome light come one? Will your headlights come on?
Check the connections to the starter and all all the battery cables, if
your lucky it might just be a bad connection.
It might also be that the solenoid on your starter or the starter itself
has gone bad, if you can get to it try giving it a whack, if it then
starts or tries to start that's your problem.

the first thing you can do is check the battery connections. find a pair of old gloves before you touch anything around the battery. touching battery terminals with your hand will not give you a shock since we are dealing with only 12 to 14 volts and it would take more than that before you would feel it. >> Stay informed about: help, car will not start |
