Car is a 2007 XLS with a handsfree phone system via Bluetooth.

Question: How you do you change the sensitivity of the microphones? There
are two microphones: (1) by the rear view mirror next to the lights and
garage door openner and (2) by the driver's right need (below the
initition button).

The sound comes through the speaker (ok quality), but the microphone
portion makes the person speaking sound like they are very far
away....even when talking directly to the rear view mirror area.

Microphones should have sensitivity settings...any clues how?

Sorry, no answer, but:

(This is not a psychotic episode. It's a cleansing moment of clarity.)

Are you running this on Windows, or Linux?

Awesome, so new cars are designed with bluetooth link facility? This means we can use our sony ericsson bluetooth headset that communicates with the music player inside the car?
