Post subject: galant shakes

I have a 92 galant... 5-speed maunual trans. recently it started shaking whenever i accelerate. once i get the rpm's up and ease off the gas the shaking goes away. the gas mileage has also dropped by nearly a thrid.

Just a hopeful guess, but how is the harmonic balancer (crank pulley)?
