Post subject: engine swap??

just wondering what motors will bolt right up, or without much work
bolt up? i no about the 350 small block engines, but im lookin for
somthin a little easier on gas. i was thinkin a 3.8 or somthing around
there, any suggestions?

Well the 3.8 and 3.4 Pontiac engines will fit right in without too much
problem.
check out the fiero online service guide

what about the transmision? would i have to change that?

Not necessarily, but if you have an automatic, it probably makes sense to
use the trans that comes with the engine, most likely a 4 speed 4T60. I any
event, visit and register on Pennocks, there is tons of info on swaps.

85 gt wont start?? any ideas? - .Hi guys My car a 1985 Gt wont start :( well if I let it sit for a day try and start it will start for about 3 sec. then die wont start after that. I don’t know if its a problem with fuel or not. It almost sounds like its not sparking it just cranks..
