No Michael it is the newest Volvo (designed and made by Volvo) unit with 2.4Litres, five cylinders, common rail and 185 bhp or 163 bhp depending on whether earlier or later version. That one was known as the 2.5D and was also a five cylinder, built by VW/Audi and gave about 143 bhp. it too was electronically fuelled and could be "chipped".
