eletric seat track problem - 1999 Sierra?

Hey all,

My dad just bought a 99 sierra with 100K miles, anyway, it has power cloth
bucket seats, and they have a little foward and backwards play when you're
driving. Both seats do it. Is there anything that can be done to fix it or
what part needs to be replaced? Is this a common problem in the new style
Sierra/Silverados?

These were weak mountings from the start. If you had a fleet of these
trucks or SUV's, the dealer "might" fix by drilling out the spot welds,
then bolting together. No way a recall or other needed satisfaction.
Dealers did it...you can too...
