i have a durango 04 v8 4wd 4.7 and i know why did't you get the
hemi , well .. let said that for $4k more on the price of the car i
decide not to get it. and now i read more about hemi engine and i
think i made a big mistake.

Yes. Just like it's possible to turn your Durango into a convertible.

However, I would recommend you attempt neither. Trading in for a
suitably-equipped vehicle will be MUCH quicker, easier, and cheaper.

A much better fix is to regear the thing. Salp in some 4.10 or 4.56's and you will think you trhough in a much bigger engine and still use less fuel than if it had a Hemi. They do not gear a lot of those thing correct for the real world from the factory and lots of times people blame the engine when it is they way it is geared because gearing can make or break any SUV more than what engine is in it.
