156 2L TS (2000W) SP3
One side at the rear is noticeably lower than the other - about 2cm
I've only had a brief look around under the wheel arch and can't see
anything obvious, but any suggestions of what could be the cause? Could it
just be a knackered damper, or would that not cause a reduction in height?

A damper has no influence on ride height. However, if your car on the rear
is lower at one side, and level at the front, you have a twisted car! Think
about it! Most likely the surface you are measuring is not flat.
