Post subject: How can I disable the car alarm in 2000 Mitsubishi Galant?

How can I disable the car alarm in 2000 Mitsubishi galant? I set off the alarm accidentally and now the lights flash each time the car is started. I have even pulled the fuses, but the lights still flash for about 5 minutes each time I start the car. How can I turn off the alarm and reset it?
