civic 93 esi v-tec wont start help!!!

i have a civic esi v-tec hatchback 3dr, i woz going up the road n it jus died i went to start it n nothing happen not even the starter motor turning ova but when i bump the car it runs fine apart from the revs being abit low on tick ova, iv replaced the starter motor and main ignition relay and check every fuse in the car n there all fine. the stator motor clicks but thats it, also when i try turning it ova and when the stater motor clicks it kills the ignition and i get a clicking coming from under my dash board and the dash board lights flicker in time with the clicking,

any help would b appreciated as u no startor motors aint cheap n iv spent abit trying to sort it.

p.s. i had a clifford alarm fitted a month before the problem occured and wosnt sure wether this could of caused the problem
