located in the fuse box in the engine compartment? this drl relay, does
it look like one of those big grey modules? if so, those are hard to pull.
I've looked at some of the DRLs hints for the S10. the info on this is
somewhat conflicting & confusing at least for the 2000 model. One says
to pull the module at certain #s and bend the pins and stick it back in
the fuse box. One says just to rip out the module inside the
dashboard. And finally, one says simply to remove the fuse plug labeled
DRL or FGLMP and the DRLs will be turned off permanently.
I tried the last suggestion and that did work, removing the 10 amp fuse
plug labled FGLMP.
I'm not concerned with the insurance DRL scam issue. it highly unlikely
that they will find out about it, unless you're living in California or
other states that require the use of DRLs.
