Post subject: car shaking vibration
I have a 1987 Accord with a 1989 engine & tranny, it was like that when I bought it. When in drive with foot on the brake it makes my teeth rattle it shakes so badly. In reverse it shakes a little. I have been told wishbone motor mount was bad by a couple of people. Then a mechanic said no it's a compression problem. Carbon build up in cylynders. I'm not much of a mechanic, but I don't want to waste money either. Any suggestions?
