Post subject: break lights wont work

Hi, i have a 1987 full size bronco i have running lights flasher back up lights hazzards lights but no break lights i have power at the break switch on the pedal all fuses r good but still no break lights some 1 please help me Sad

Ok I assume(dangerous thing to do) that flasher means turn signals work
You say you have power going to the brake light switch, when you push on the
peddale do you have power coming out of the switch? If no, bad switch, if
yes, then I would suspect the turn signal switch

They're brake lights, except when they don't work then they're broke lights
but they are never break lights.

The Brake Light Swtich on the pedal goes through the Turn Signal Switch,
then is fed to the brake lights. As a test, apply the brakes and move the
turn signal stalk a little bit to see if you can find a place where the
brake lights come on. If you can do this, the turn signal switch is bad. If
you still can't get the brake lights to come on then the problem can either
be the turn signal switch or a brokne wire between the brake pedal and the
turn signal switch.

You said the Turn Signals work, is that right?

Bronco II fuel pump - Hello, I had to replace the fuel pump in my '87 Bronco 2, this cost me $129 and the tank was rusty, I was charged $75 to have it cleaned. My question is how much of this will Ford cover on a 19 year old vehicle since they should last forever? :)

1988 Bronco - I bought a used 1988 Bronco and its a v8 and i have taken it to a ford dealership like five times cause stuff keeps going wrong with it but they act like they have no idea whats goin on everytime an that there is nothing wrong and then later they say oh....

Regular vs. Reverse flow water pump for Bronco - Is there any reason you can't convert a reverse flow cooling system on a Ford 302 to regular flow? Weatherstripping for 1988 Bronco II ? - Where is a good place to get new ORIGINAL type weather stripping that goes around the doors for restoring my 1988 Bronco II ? I may use JC Whitney but are there any others that might be better for this? thanks TL
