I'm trying to get the part # for brake pads for a 2002 WRX. I found this
list on endwrench:

200009-200206 26296FE060 Front pads* WRX
200009-200212 26696FC002 Rear pads, discs WRX
200207-200212 26296SA000 Front pads* WRX
200210-200505 26296SA020 Front pads* WRX
200210-200505 26696FE040 Rear pads, discs WRX
200504-26296FE070 Front pads* WRX
200504-26696FE070 Rear pads, WRX

I know my car is a 2002, but how do I figure the month?
Is this list accurate? There is an overlap of time period from 2005 04 to
2005 05.
What is the differences between the parts for different time period?

The month should be on the drivers side door jam.I had this problem geting
pads for my 03, they had a couple different combinations for the front and
rear for early 03 and late 03. If you go to http://www.jscspeed.com. Look in
the brake pad section for the WRX. It will show you the diffrences.I found
it easy to just measure them.

Call the local dealer and give them your VIN. They'll look it up, you
write it down, and then you get the parts somewhere else.
