No that does not mean a blown Head Gasket but you do have oil burning. If
you have spark, is it a strong blue spark. Also if the plugs have alot of
oil on them it might not run. Also need to make sure it is getting fuel.
As long as you have compression air and fuel and ignition it will run. So
remembering that makes it easier to narrow down the problem. Sounds to me
like it is probably a fuel problem. You might also want to check the fuel
pump and relays. that car should be fuel injected to when you turn the key
to on you should hear a light whine from the back for a few seconds. IF so
then make sure you have fuel getting to the engine. If not check the fuses
and relays for fuel. If all good drop tank. check connectors to fuel pump
to make sure they are sending power to pump if so replace pump, if not
trace electrical problem. I am a ASE cert. Mechanic, I know what to do in
my head but, i hope i was able to explain it to you well.

I agree with cg27...blown gasket is unlikely...however:

In the interest of being thorough...you can check to see if there is any
fluid cross-leakage between the oil and the coolant. Coolant in the oil
leaves a "chocolate milkshake" gunk inside your valve cover and all over the
underside of the oil fill cap. Oil in the coolant shows up as a thin greasy
slick floating atop the rad filler neck or the coolant collector tank. Both
are indicators of a blown (cracked and/or leaking) head gasket.

In the interest of thoroughness, make sure you have some gas in the tank.
