Post subject: automatic choke on a peugeot 406 h reg

I have a peugeot 406 H reg and the automatic choke needs looking at and possibly replacing. How much would this be likely to cost, any ideas. I know nothing about cars and have no idea what a rip of price for this would be, or indeed anything about my ancient vehicle, which I have just aquired, other than the fact that it is red, any info would be gratefully received....thankyou
