Post subject: optima window stuck

Welp, I had the car parked for 4 days and when I went to take a spin the
passenger window seems to have gotten off track. It gets stuck about 3
inches from the top.
Anyone have this prob? 2001 model Optima. Anyone know if this is most likely
a guide or some gearing mechanism? The motor seems to be working fine, the
window is just off axis (rocks forward and backward along the the doors
length, not in and out).

This could be a regulator problem. Call your local KIA dealer to see if your car will fall under the Warranty. THere is a Updated version of this regulator.
