More like 600-620 .
As for not being heard of ???.. you have not spent much time around the
buicks have you .
It depends on the motor as to what to do, the newer ecotecs

So they will hold more than 6-650hp safely on a properly built stock block
then..

Why?? .. he wants 500 rwhp.. why over turbo a small V6 if you do not need
to, then you are into a serious hi stall convertor so it will not be a
complete slug in the lower rpms off the line.
or a pair of

Same thing.
ull need a fair whack of boost at least 14psi

You just took this "fairly" inexpensive 500rwhp motor that he wants, to all
out race hi buck motor.. for no reason.
Forged pistons, stronger rods, 4 bolt mains,

There are street driven buicks in the nines with a single throttlebody.
probably other stuff but hope

This last suggestion almost makes sense .
But keep in mind boring a stock block makes it weaker, and also takes away
options if you have an oops , its one less bore you can do to fix it .
For the miniscule amount of power it will increase , leave it stock bore
until it needs to go to the "next" size up.
