Depending whether it is auto or stick , you would need to make around 600
brake hp , so you would need around a T66 [ turbonetics or equivelant ] TO4
, there are other turbos ,but the Garrett T04 style is what I use.
While you are at it , you will need a very large efficient intercooler, and
at least 60+ lb. injectors.
Dave.

Hey to get 500rwhp ull need 650hp at motor. Unheard of in V6 at the moment. It depends on the motor as to what to do, the newer ecotecs are stronger than buich motors but this is what ull need for buich motor. Ull need monster turbo in vicinity of 700-750hp or a pair of turbos 350-400hp rating ull need a fair whack of boost at least 14psi (1 bar) probably more. Forged pistons, stronger rods, 4 bolt mains, nitrided crank, big end bearings, little end bearings, head gaskets, head bolts, fully worked heads, big exhaust, 50ib injectors, massive fuel pump if not two, rising rate regulator, front mount intercooler, blow off valve, probably external wastegate, larger intake manifold (almost custom twin throttle manifold), probably other stuff but hope this is helpfu, it will be an awesum beast to drive though. If u have a factory superchargered motor unbolt supercharger and bolt on 1.9:1 roller rockers, springs GT30/40 externally gated turbo (20psi), ported and polished heads, bore the block fit larger rings and ull be close to 500rwhp, know a vt that did this minus boring and heads and 20psi produced 440rwhp, ok have fun

More like 600-620 .
As for not being heard of ???.. you have not spent much time around the
buicks have you .

So they will hold more than 6-650hp safely on a properly built stock block
then..

Why?? .. he wants 500 rwhp.. why over turbo a small V6 if you do not need
to, then you are into a serious hi stall convertor so it will not be a
complete slug in the lower rpms off the line.

or a pair of

Same thing.

ull need a fair whack of boost at least 14psi

You just took this "fairly" inexpensive 500rwhp motor that he wants, to all
out race hi buck motor.. for no reason.

There are street driven buicks in the nines with a single throttlebody.

probably other stuff but hope

This last suggestion almost makes sense .
But keep in mind boring a stock block makes it weaker, and also takes away
options if you have an oops , its one less bore you can do to fix it .
For the miniscule amount of power it will increase , leave it stock bore
until it needs to go to the "next" size up.
