I strike a balance. After pwning a guzzling Oldsmobile convertible with
noticeable stench and heat build up after 30-40 miles trip, I promise
dmyself never again choose appearance over emissions/performance. Olds
looked beautiful, the internals were crap however, maybe OK fo rthat 1994
year, but you could watch gas gauge dropping literally dropping with every
few New York City blocks, this torture made conditioned me to hate all
guzzlers, not abou tmoney - it made me sick and I thought I am 32 year old
healthy man going to transform into one of these piggy ugly old farts who
never get out of their cars.
So yes Sentra is a tin can on outside but it'; smy lovely workhorse now that
I put 1/3 tank and never refuel whole week, I do NOT load fulll tank anymor
ebecause i figured gas is weight in itself, so why carry 14 gallon sof
combustible liquid that will kill you in certain collisions/explosions when
I can get arounfd at 2-4 gallons and gas station is a few blocks from my
building so making this refueling trip is NOt wasteful either, I am
seriously now an environmentalist due to bad experienc ewith guzzling
garbage (2 junkies), which cost me very little but if I kew I'd get a new
PZEV or other e=fuel-efficient vehicle then instea dof waiting until 2004
My Sentra is nearly $1K more due to california-rated emissions (toughest in
the country)
