My first reaction was, nooooooooooooo, don't send
her towards NASIOC!!!!11one!
I soon decided it would actually be quite
pleasureable to watch her meet the likes of
Davenow and Uncle Scotty...<EG> >> Stay informed about: head gasket; warranty |

My friend has a '99 Forester.
His head gasket failed; both were replaced under warranty.
A few symptoms of head gasket failure are water leaks and/or foaming in
the oil, usually noticed at the oil fill cap. >> Stay informed about: head gasket; warranty |

How long is the standard warranty ? I've got a '99 with 160K miles that
probably needs a new head gasket and is probably way way over any
warranty! >> Stay informed about: head gasket; warranty |

More likely it was a hot day and you were boiling off coolant sending
steam bubbles to the expansion tank. When the water pump stops
running you can get local hot spots that will do that. >> Stay informed about: head gasket; warranty |

Possible but I don't think so. ISTR hearing it in a wide variety
of conditions, including coming home at night. >> Stay informed about: head gasket; warranty |

5yr\60k for powertrain. If you had the additive I think they took it up
to 7yr\100k for the headgasket only.
