Sorry but I'm NOT welding anything to the frame, even if I had a welder
and enough skill to do it right (currently I have neither).
I want a good solid hitch that can be bolted to the frame, like the S10
hitch on my Champ. It bolted right up after drilling two holes, and if
a future owner (in 2040 or so <G>) wants to remove it they won't have
any problem.
I have a funny feeling about this Lark, it's such a nice car that I feel
more like a caretaker than just another owner. While I plan on keeping
it for a long time and putting a LOT of miles on it it's also the most
original Stude I've had (by FAR), and I want to keep it as original as
is reasonably practical.
